Frequently Asked Questions

What specialized industries do you primarily serve?

Classic Plastics Corporation has served the death care and healthcare industries since 1994. Our core B2B clients include:

  • Medical & Science: Hospitals, morgues, anatomy labs, and organ/tissue donor networks
  • Government & Public Safety: Coroners, medical examiners, police and fire departments, and the U.S. Army
  • Death Care: Funeral homes and funeral supply distributors
  • Veterinary: Veterinary hospitals and wildlife/farm management facilities
Can you manufacture custom-sized Human Remains Pouches (HRPs) or other plastic products?

Yes. Alongside our stock sizes — from infant to jumbo bariatric — we manufacture custom HRPs and pet loss bags in vinyl, polypropylene, polyethylene, and bioplastics. Custom manufacturing runs typically require a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of 1,000 units.

Do you offer eco-friendly or cremation-safe options?

Yes. We manufacture bioplastic products using non-petroleum-based resins, including corn and tapioca starches. Our eco-friendly HRPs are chlorine-free, Burn Wise compliant for cremation, and suitable for alkaline hydrolysis (water cremation).

What are the weight capacities and material thicknesses of your bags?

We offer several material grades based on structural need:

  • Standard/Light Duty: Typically 6–8 mil, for general transport
  • Heavy Duty: Typically 10–12 mil, with heat-sealed seams to prevent leaking
  • Super Heavy Duty/Disaster: Scrim-reinforced material built for high-stress recovery and bariatric cases, with up to 16 reinforced carry handles
Can we request private labeling or custom branding?

Yes. We offer private label services for organizations seeking direct-to-retail or branded professional offerings, including in-house printing and fulfillment. For logo placement on HRPs, we typically recommend high-adhesion stickers; direct printing can be discussed for large-scale custom orders.

What is your typical lead time and shipping policy?
  • In-Stock Items: Most stock merchandise ships within 1–2 business days.
  • Custom Orders: Lead times are provided at the time of quoting.
  • Shipping: Free shipping on orders of $50 or more within the contiguous United States, via FedEx or LTL freight. Orders below $50 ship at a flat rate calculated at checkout.
  • Alaska, Hawaii & International: We currently do not process online orders for Alaska, Hawaii, or destinations outside the United States on our Shopify site. Please call us at (630) 771-1260 or email us to place an order for these locations.
Do you sell directly to end-users, or through distributors?

Both. Our mortuary garments are sold primarily through distributors who supply funeral homes. Our HRPs and specialty plastic products are sold directly to hospitals, coroners, municipalities, schools, and veterinary clinics, as well as through our distributor network.

What is your return policy for B2B bulk orders?

Returns or exchanges on unopened, unused stock products must be initiated within 14 days of delivery. Custom products are not eligible for return once an order is submitted. If an item is defective or the wrong item is shipped, Classic Plastics covers return shipping.

Are you affiliated with any professional or trade organizations?

Yes. Classic Plastics Corporation is affiliated with organizations across the medical examiner, funeral, cremation, and pet loss professions, including:

  • National Association of Medical Examiners (NAME)
  • International Association of Coroners & Medical Examiners (IAC&ME)
  • National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA)
  • International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association (ICCFA)
  • Southern Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Association (SCCFA)
